LOS ANGELES, AUGUST 23, 2016 – This past weekend, Doralie Medina, better known to the world as Bad Medina, and Floyd Mayweather Jr. hosted a luxurious event to celebrate the launch of her all-new, diamond-infused makeup line at the beautiful Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles. The event brought together nearly 500 guests including beauty and fashion influencers, tastemakers, members of the press, fans of Bad Medina and the Los Angeles elite.
Guests entered the party by walking the Pink Carpet, and the event boasted makeup touch-up stations featuring the Bad Medina makeup line, photo booth confessionals, gourmet food, an open bar featuring signature cocktails, and opulent styling that took Instagram and Snapchat by storm.
Bad Medina Cosmetics launched with over 40 products including bold lipsticks, long-wearing lip paints, luminous glosses, and radiant blushes and eye shadows. Each product in the Bad Medina line has been created to provide great coverage, saturated colors and to stay put. Products are also infused with “Baddie Diamonds,” which manipulate light to subtly illuminate lips and face to help reduce the appearance of imperfections and wrinkles and create a smooth and flawless finish.
“This isn’t something that just happened overnight,” shares Floyd Mayweather Jr. “The launch this weekend is a celebration of Bad Medina’s lifelong dream of creating her own cosmetics line. We took our time in creating the line because we wanted it to be perfect; we wanted to give people a top-of-the-line product.”
When asked what inspired her to create the line, Bad Medina shares: “My fans have been a huge part of why I decided to create Bad Medina Cosmetics. I’ve always wanted to do something in fashion, and their questions about my styles and requests for tutorials really encouraged me to create my own line with that special Bad Medina touch.”
Inspired by her affinity for pin-up glamour, the makeup line channels the upscale, glamorous vibe of old Hollywood but with a modern twist that reflects Medina’s love of bold, vibrant colors. “I knew I wanted my line to be classy, fun and different, and I think that because I took my time and experimented extensively with formulas and colors, I’ve put together a line that transcends labels – it’s something that everyone can wear.”
